My approach to real estate is to listen. Many sellers will tell me what they would like their ideal home to have, and many times, with just some updating, they are already living in it. With first time buyers I also listen to their needs and wants, and then figure out what is really important to them through their reactions to different features of properties that we view. By not only asking questions and listening to their responses, but with understanding their reactions, I can help a buyer find a home that is the best fit for them. |
I’ve been around Chicago Real Estate my whole life. I started working with Andco Management, Ltd. while I was in grammar school doing things like shoveling snow and mowing lawns, and working summers with different contractors learning parts of their trade. In high school I helped to develop Andco’s first website, which was a huge step forward into the age of the internet at the time. ,
Just after graduating from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign I began to work full time for Andco as a leasing agent and Director of Marketing, which enabled me to see firsthand what types of property marketing are most effective. After my first summer as a leasing agent, I obtained my Broker’s license and began working with buyers and sellers. In late 2004, I purchased a condo in Albany Park. I was elected to the Board of Directors of the association, and this has helped me to know the ins and outs of condo life more than I ever wanted to. |
